The MASY Group And Booz Allen Hamilton To Be Recognized As A 2015 Nunn-Perry Award Recipient For Outstanding Mentor-Protégé Collaboration

The MASY Group and Booz Allen Hamilton have been selected by the Department of Defense (DoD) to receive the prestigious Nunn-Perry Award. This award, named in honor of former Senator Sam Nunn and former Secretary of Defense William Perry, recognizes outstanding mentor-protégé relationships formed under the DoD’s Mentor-Protégé Program.

“Booz Allen is honored to be recognized for our contributions to the DoD’s mission and the development of The MASY Group,” said Diane Marsden, Principal of Booz Allen’s Strategic Vehicle Team. “Booz Allen has long been committed to mentoring and teaming with our small business partners to deliver results that meet our clients’ challenges and also inspire new levels of success.”

With the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as the sponsoring agency and Booz Allen’s mentorship, The MASY Group has expanded its specialized intelligence, defense, and security capabilities to new clients within DoD and DIA, improved service delivery to existing clients, and streamlined internal processes to eliminate administrative impediments for its cadre of mission support personnel. These developments have positioned The MASY Group as a strong small business contractor capable of delivering enhanced intelligence and defense solutions and managing complex project assignments in support of the warfighters and national security.

Department of Army, Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM): As operational analysts supporting INSCOM/Army Counterintelligence HUMINT Cell (ACHC), our team’s role is to synchronize, coordinate and deconflict Counterintelligence (CI) and HUMINT operations across INSCOM units and equities while maximizing operational effectiveness, and efficiencies.  Within the CI and HUMINT Analytics Requirements Cell (CHARC), MASY Analysts provide analysis support to mission operations. Leveraging multiple databases and analytical tool sets, MASY Analysts review and identify problems to assist with US Army collection priorities and data assessments, in support of CI and HUMINT investigations and operations.

August 2014- Inc. magazine has recognized the MASY Group on its annual Inc. 5000 list,  a prestigious ranking of America’s fastest growing private companies.  The exclusive list identifies its honorees based on overall revenue, personnel numbers, and other related growth factors over a three-year period.  Despite some market share reduction in 2013, MASY ranked in the top half of all honorees in the “Government Services” category.  MASY co-founder Alex Anyse noted, “Despite the revenue contraction experienced in 2013, this year we continued to successfully increase our footprint in the education and security realm.  We are fortunate to have quickly bounced back to our earlier 2012 growth and our predictions for next year are equally positive.”
